“Crest View Recovery Center” is an outpatient drug rehab in Asheville, North Carolina. Inpatient treatment is an option for people suffering from severe addiction to alcohol or other substances. At Crest View, we strive to facilitate change and encourage hope for those struggling with addiction, alcoholism, dual diagnosis disorders, and mental health issues.

The philosophy at Crest View combines twelve-step recovery programs, group therapy, art therapy, nutritional support, and psychotherapy to meet the needs of individuals and families in crisis. Our board Certified therapists and counselors utilize a unique combination of approaches in order to address the unique needs of each client. Many of the outpatient treatment options are supported by our nurses and therapists. Our doctors specialize in mental health issues and offer inpatient drug rehab treatment and outpatient programs for individuals suffering from various addictions. Some of our patients include men who have been addicted to heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines, and morphine, as well as women who have been addicted to prescription medications such as pain killers, tranquilizers, and mood altering medications. A majority of our outpatient patients are men between the ages of eighteen and thirty-five, and most are unemployed.

Our treatment approach takes the approach that success is about building a relationship based on trust and compassion between the patient and the therapist/counselor. The majority of our patients return to the program for additional treatment or to receive follow up services. Due to the nature of the programs and the type of treatment received, we do not recommend detoxification as an outpatient. However, some may be able to participate in outpatient counseling and/or partial hospitalization.
