The Orange County Family Program (OCFP) provides the families and individuals of drug and alcohol addicts the resources necessary to overcome substance abuse and addiction. The OCFP is a county-funded program that is designed to strengthen the ties between families, address the needs of vulnerable people and provide an environment that facilitates recovery from addiction. The OCFP counselors provide individual and group counseling, as well as referral to local alcohol and drug treatment centers. If a person has an addiction to alcohol or drugs, they can enroll in the program and will receive individual, group and family therapy. Counseling is provided by professional social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and addiction specialists.

In addition to offering resources and information to families, the OCFP offers state-of-the-art drug treatment programs for people suffering from addictions to drugs and alcohol. The program partners with local substance abuse treatment facilities to provide individual, family and group therapy. Both outpatient and inpatient services are offered. The goal of these programs is to help recover from substance addictions and develop personal accountability for decision making related to substance abuse.

The Orange County Family Program recognizes that families cannot successfully address addiction on their own. Therefore, the OCFP has developed multiple resource centers to address specific concerns related to family programs. These include educational material, peer support, and referrals to local addiction treatment facilities. The Family Counseling Service provides individual and group counseling for families in need. This service provides individual and family counseling, and referral to local substance abuse treatment facilities.
