Griffith Center for Children Colorado Springs CO 80909

The Griffith Center for Children in Colorado Springs offers a unique approach to parenting. One that makes the family bond stronger and less of an impediment when it comes to academic success. The center is located just a few miles from Denver, just down the street from Coors Field, so the family does not have to commute to school and the children do not have to take time off of school to go to the center for activities.

In order to be accepted into this center, a child must be enrolled at Colorado Springs Public Schools and meet the requirements of the program. The first step is to attend a local Colorado Springs Public Schools and present a letter of intent to be a part of the center. The second step is to submit a parenting plan to the center’s Parenting Program Director. All parents are welcome to come and see the kids, but are not required to participate in any activities. The center also has a Parenting Coach who works with the parents on all of the school work to keep their kids motivated. There are also individual counseling sessions where each parent will get individual help. Counselor sessions are often attended by the teachers and other staff members as well to ensure that each child has the best possible start to the school year.

The Griffith center in Colorado Springs is staffed with dedicated professionals who are willing to listen to every parent’s problems, concerns, and fears. These professionals work with every parent on a one-on-one basis to help them identify their problem areas and work with them to make the school year successful. The program works with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to ensure that each child has the best possible start. The center is available to help parents all year and there are programs available for children who are going to the school during the summer as well. In order to participate in one of these programs, however, parents must submit a letter of intent. This letter is then reviewed by a committee of parents, staff, and teachers to ensure that it meets the criteria necessary for the child’s eligibility. This helps to ensure that each child has the best possible start at the center.
