Dierks Barbara, PhD in Colorado Springs has studied the causes and treatment of multiple sclerosis since 2001. She is a practicing medical doctor and the president of Diers Barbara Research Foundation. She specializes in the field of neuroimmunology. She is also a practicing chiropractor. Dr. Barbara’s medical training took her to both the United States Air Force Academy in Texas and Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts.

As a clinical neurologist, Dr. Barbara is involved with the assessment and management of patients with MS. She uses neuroimaging techniques to diagnose the disease and to determine how it progresses. The goal of this therapy is to reduce symptoms such as stiffness and pain in the central nervous system.
