Located in southwest Chicago within the south suburbs of Oak Lawn, the Change Point integrated services outpatient clinic is managed by Board Certified Mental Health Psychologist Dr. Joseph W. Deutsch. The program is designed to help people suffering from addictions such as alcohol and drugs by providing customized inpatient treatment and inpatient drug rehabilitation. The treatment center offers comprehensive substance abuse treatment and health care products to combat drug dependency. In addition, patients may also benefit from educational programs, social activities, spiritual support groups, and life coaching.

People suffering from addictions often have a difficult time adjusting to their new lifestyles, and traditional inpatient substance abuse treatment programs can be ineffective at meeting needs. Many inpatient treatment programs are designed around the concept of “relapse prevention” to help prevent future drug and alcohol dependencies. This innovative approach to patient care helps to ensure that people struggling with addiction will not be victims of relapse. The goal of Change Point is to provide its clients with an all around addiction treatment plan that takes into account their unique needs and is offered in a setting that provides for their security.

Change Point’s outpatient substance abuse treatment is geared towards making the patient feel comfortable and independent while they are receiving inpatient substance abuse treatment at the Treatment Center. Patients are encouraged to take part in their own personal therapy sessions that are designed around their specific needs. The entire treatment facility is staffed with trained therapists and doctors who are committed to ensuring each client receives individualized treatment that meets their needs. Patients may be required to attend a short group therapy session or an inpatient rehab facility. There are also several private therapy sessions, as well as nutrition and fitness programs, in addition to onsite clinics and hospitals.
