The Southwest Behavioral Health Services, Inc. (BWBSI) is a full service drug and alcohol rehabilitation and outpatient treatment center that provide comprehensive programs for individuals suffering from substance abuse. As one of the members of the Southwest Commission on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SWCADIDS), the board of directors and staffs an advisory board on issues that affect the addict, their families and their friends. The BWBSI offers both inpatient and outpatient services to cater to the needs of people who are suffering from addiction. The outpatient services offer detoxification services to the addict and his or her family. Both of the programs allow the addict to participate in outpatient recovery programs where they can participate in a specific program for as long as is needed.

The residential treatment centers offer inpatient treatment for the addict and his or her family. Inpatient services include detoxification services where the addict will be evaluated and the cause of addiction will be determined. Once the addict has accepted the reason for addiction, he or she will be given individualized treatment plans. Residential treatment centers usually have highly trained staffs who are able to assist the addict with their road to recovery.

Once treatment is complete, BWHBSI will help the addict return to a normal life. These symptoms can include irritability, mood swings, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and thoughts of suicide. A mental health professional is assigned to monitor the progress of the addict and take action if necessary.
