Coldplay’s Chris Martin, who served as the musical guest during Saturday Night Live’s first “At Home” episode on April 11, covered Bob Dylan’s “Shelter From The Storm” during the show.
In a live black-and-white recording, Martin performed an acoustic cover of the classic “Shelter From the Storm” from 1974’s Blood on the Tracks. The song was appropriate considering the social distancing and stay-at-home orders being enforced to curb the COVID-19 outbreak.
In addition to appearing on SNL, Martin also recently participated in “Together, At Home: WHO-Global Citizen Solidarity Sessions,” where he answered questions from fans and performed “Yellow,” “Viva La Vida” and “Trouble.”
Meanwhile, Dylan’s “Murder Most Foul” recently topped the Billboard Rock Digital Song Sales Chart. This was the first time that Dylan had scored a number one song on a pop chart under his own name.
