Nirvana’s Live and Loud, a recording of the band’s iconic performance at Pier 48 in Seattle, Washington, in December 1993, will be reissued on vinyl and released on streaming platforms on August 30.
Live and Loud was first issued on CD and DVD in September 2013 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the band’s final studio album, In Utero.
The album will now hit all streaming services and be issued in a 2XLP vinyl version. It is available for pre-order now.
The 17-track album features Nirvana hits like “Drain You,” “Breed,” “Sever the Servants,” “Sliver,” “Pennyroyal Tea,” “All Apologies,” “Heart-Shaped Box,” “Come as You Are,” “Lithium,” “About a Girl.”
It will also include a cover of David Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold The World” performed by the touring lineup of singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain, bassist Krist Novoselic, drummer Dave Grohl and guitarist Pat Smear.
