After wrapping up a run of tour dates with Magic Giant earlier this year, Sydney, Australia’s rising alternative band Castlecomer announced that they have reworked their most successful track, “Fire Alarm,” with friends and fellow rockers Welshly Arms. Listen here. The two bands revisit the song with a fresh new sound in celebration of sharing the stage over a number of dates in May. The original version of “Fire Alarm” was a runaway hit on Spotify, reaching #6 on the Global Viral chart with more than seven and a half million streams.
Castlecomer released their self-titled debut full-length LP on October 5th, 2018 via Concord Records – the record, which was recorded primarily in Sydney with producers Adrian Breakspear (Gang of Youths) and Jean-Paul Fung (Jet, Silverchair) and mastered by Joe LaPorta (The Weeknd, The Killers, Foo Fighters), is chock full of contagious, hypnotizing anthems, six of which have been placed on major playlists at Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
