Foo Fighters picked up a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song for their Concrete And Gold track, “Run.” This marks the twelfth Grammy won by the Foo Fighters.
In order to take home the prize, they had to beat out the likes of Metallica – “Atlas, Rise!,” K. Flay – “Blood in the Cut,” Nothing More – “Go To War,” and Avenged Sevenfold – “The Stage.”
Greg Kurstin, who produced the Concrete and Gold album as well as songs from Beck, P!nk, and former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, won Producer of the Year.
Elsewhere in rock music, Mastodon’s “Sultan’s Curse” won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance, indie rockers the War on Drugs’ A Deeper Understanding won Best Rock Album, and Leonard Cohen’s “You Want it Darker” won Best Rock Performance.
