Atlanta rockers Collective Soul are hard at work on their new album, which they plan to release this fall, but if you can't wait that long to hear their new music you can catch them playing a handful of shows this summer.
Along with re-launching their official website, Collective Soul announced recently that they will be releasing a new album this fall. They’ve been spending majority of the summer laying down tracks for the new album, which is untitled as of yet. The band has also announced a series of shows for the rest of the summer, where they plan to introduce much of the new record to their fans. Collective Soul completed their contract with Atlantic Records in 2001, and now plans to release any future albums independently. Their last studio album came out almost four years ago, which was followed by a greatest hits collection they released in 2001 entitled “7even Year Itch: 1994 – 2001”.
