It was produced by the artist in tandem with Nitzer Ebb principal Ben Harris and is being mixed by Alan Moulder, who previously worked on a handful of Smashing Pumpkins releases.”We are now in the mixing stage for the next three weeks,” Corgan writes on his official Web site. “I am very excited about the album as I feel I have created something relatively fresh and vibrant and exciting to my ears. I know that I like it and that makes me smile.” Meanwhile, the former Smashing Pumpkins/Zwan frontman’s first book of poetry, “Blinking With Fists,” has just been released by Faber and Faber. The 83-page hard cover volume features such multi-page entries as “The Poetry of My Heart” and the ultra brief “I Choose,” which comprises just 22 words.Amid his burgeoning solo career, Corgan is also at work on his first novel for Faber and Faber.
