During a Stone Temple Pilots performance in Cincinnati last week, lead singer Scott Weiland reportedly fell off the stage during the band's opening set.
At a Wednesday night Stone Temple Pilots concert in Cincinnati, STP lead singer and former Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland took a nasty spill during the opening of the group’s set. While the group was performing “Crackerman,” Weiland tripped and fell off the stage. Security reportedly rushed to his aid but Weiland got right back onstage and continued the song without missing a beat. He refused all medical attention. Earlier this month, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler suffered a similar fate when he fell off the stage during a performance in Toronto. STP are currently touring in support of their recent comeback release, the eponymous Stone Temple Pilots, which peaked at number two on the Billboard 200.
