The Strumbellas are hitting the road with Cold War Kids this fall, kicking off September 26th at Orpheum in Flagstaff, AZ. This announcement comes hot off the heels of the band’s celebrated album Hope, which debuted in the top #10 on both the Alternative and Folk Albums Charts and will follow a jam-packed summer of live shows and festival dates. For the third consecutive week, The Strumbellas are holding the #1 spot at Alternative radio with their breakthrough debut single ‘Spirits’ and the #1 spot on the Billboard Alternative Songs Chart. The track has reached #1 at Alt radio in three countries to date – Canada, U.S., Italy – and has streamed over 30 million worldwide. To add to this summer heat, this past Friday The Wall Street Journal premiered a cover of The Strumbellas singing Bryan Adams’ ‘Summer of ‘69’ which is featured as part of Amazon Music’s Songs of Summer playlist (Listen Here). Additionally, ‘Spirits’ was featured by Entertainment Weekly as a contender for ‘song of the summer’ in this year’s Jukebox Jury (Read Here).
