Pop/punk outfit Yellowcard has christened its new album “Lights and Sounds” and will release the set Jan. 24 via Capitol. The title track will premiere in the Electronic Arts video game “Burnout Revenge.” The cut will be available Oct. 24 from digital download retailers, the same day a free live version will hit the band’s Web site.”Lights and Sounds” will be the follow-up to 2004’s “Ocean Avenue,” which has sold 1.6 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The group is in the midst of a 13-date Canadian tour, which runs through Sept. 25 in Vancouver.
