Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig has teamed up with Major Lazer for “Vegan Vampire,” a cut to be featured on the upcoming Major Lazer cartoon, set to air next year on FXX. “I would never bite you,” sing-talks Koenig on the cut. “I would never bite anybody. I may be a vampire, but I’m also a vegan.” In the show, Ezra plays a vegan vampire, who must seek out and kill vampire vampires, who, according to Consequence of Sound, feed on other vampires. “How do you kill a vampire vampire? With lasers, of course. It all sounds completely batsh*t insane, which is exactly what you’d expect from a Major Lazer show.” The Major Lazer OST also features efforts from Cat Power and RiFF RAFF.
