Third Eye Blind has rescheduled all March US shows for the Screamer Part 2 tour, beginning May 31 at the Wiltern in Los Angeles and ending July 26 with a hometown show at Oakland’s Fox Theater. Special guests Saves the Day will be opening most dates. Tickets for the March shows will be honored, with additional tickets on sale Friday, March 13 at 12pm EST. “What I’m thinking about…is the well-being of our fans, our community,” Jenkins said to the Associated Press, right before the original tour was cancelled. “We can postpone the shows. Money is not the issue. We want to play. We don’t want to let people down…I feel a moral imperative to make sure we’re doing something that’s not unsafe.” Statement from Stephan Jenkins: In 22 years, we have never cancelled a show for any reason, much less an entire tour. We have rescheduled to what is hopefully the other side of this disaster. We all need to be part of the solution and not the spread. We cannot be more excited to share the Screamer album live together. In the meantime, stay chill, wash your hands, drink plenty of water and look out for your grandparents!
