The Unlikely Candidates are featured on the Dirty Heads’ new track “Celebrate.” The HEAVY-produced track has already amassed over 117,000 streams on Spotify alone since its release less than a week ago. The song is the latest release from Dirty Heads’ upcoming album, SWIM TEAM, releasing on October 13th. The lyrically impactful track lays over a mellow beat, for a journey filled listening experience.
“A year ago on the road, I started talking with Jared [from Dirty Heads] about how strange life on the road is; how you get used to partying all the time, but some people go off the edge. It is rad that we get to travel around the states making people happy, but also tough to leave the ones we are close to at home. I had no idea that later we would end up on a song together that is exactly about what we discussed-it’s a crazy twist of fate. ‘Celebrate’ has a swagger and larger than life air to it, but it also has this big sentimentality to it-it’s a powerful song. We are both saying the same thing in our different ways and it’s cool to get both sides of that feeling on the track,” says The Unlikely Candidates frontman Kyle Morris on the track.
The Unlikely Candidates will be hitting the road this fall with Dirty Heads on a 22-city North American tour including stops in Atlanta, Toronto, Los Angeles and more. The band will perform brand new music along with their recently released track “Violence” and previous hits “Ringer,” Your Love Could Start A War” and more.
