The National have been confirmed as the first act for NOS Alive 2018, which will take place in Portugal next July. NOS Alive is a Lisbon based music festival, generally considered one of the best in Europe. It is dubbed “Europe’s best summer holiday festival experience” due to its proximity to the beach and Lisbon’s downtown areas. The Chemical Brothers, Radiohead and Arcade Fire all headlined the festival’s ten year anniversary in 2016. Nobel Prize winner Bob Dylan played one of the earliest shows back in 2008 when it was known as Optimus Alive. NOS Alive 2017 takes place July 12-14 in Passeio Maritimo Alges, Lisbon, Portugal.
