The Kooks announce US spring tour. The tour will kick off on February 11 in Oakland, CA at Fox Theater and wrap March 2 in Baltimore, MD at Ram’s Head Live. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the bands November 2018 tour dates have been rescheduled, and will be part of the new spring tour, with a string of additional shows added on. “Sorry if this has caused any inconvenience, but February is just around the corner and we are itching to get back and play to you all. Thanks for your patience and see you in February,” said lead singer Luke Pritchard. The Kooks long-awaited fifth studio album,Let’s Go Sunshine,is out now via Lonely Cat / AWAL Recordings. The album is brash and bold with songs that mix melancholy and euphoria. The music displays their timeless sound in its purest form, while pushing it forward into a more expansive and mature space.
