In a recent interview with AOL Music, Paramore singer Hayley Williams said the band plans to release new music by the Summer, which the band will reportedly start recording in early March. “We are going to go tomorrow to South America to do a tour. And then when we get back, we’re hoping to record a batch of songs to release over the summer,” said Williams. “All the details aren’t worked out yet, but we definitely do want to release [‘In the Mourning’] and some other ones before we put out a record.” The new songs will be the first since Josh and Zac Farro left the group at the end of last year. Rob Cavallo, producer of their previous album Brand New Eyes, has been tapped to produce the upcoming album and says he’s excited about the chance to work with the band again. “It’s definitely extra motivation,” said Cavallo of the lineup change,” I’m really proud that they chose me to do this transition and when I heard the first demos, I was absolutely blown away.” Very little material from the upcoming album has been leaked, with the exception of a clip guitarist Taylor York and Williams casually performing a portion of their new song, ‘In the Mourning.’ “It’s not a great indication of all the songs. Just maybe a good indication of the growth we’re experiencing right now,” said Williams. “There will definitely be some heavy songs on there.”
