Alexisonfire guitarist/vocalist Dallas Green is readying a new album titled "Bring Me Your Love," which is his latest solo effort under the City and Colour moniker.
Alexisonfire guitarist/vocalist Dallas Green has mapped another round of headlining dates beginning in early January behind his latest solo effort under the City and Colour moniker, “Bring Me Your Love.” The Canadian singer/songwriter mounts up Jan. 7 in Washington, DC, the first of 10 shows on the early-year trek, which stretches through a Feb. 1 show in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Details are included below.”Bring Me Your Love,” Green’s second solo effort as City and Colour, came to light early last year. The album’s second single, “Sleeping Sickness,” features a guest appearance by singer Gordon Downie of The Tragically Hip, a longtime friend of Green’s whom he met a few years ago at the Juno Awards, Canada’s version of the Grammys. “It was great,” Green, in an interview earlier this year with LiveDaily, said about working with Downie. “He’s a very, very nice man. He’s one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. It was cool to have him sing on the record. He came down and did it. It was nice to have him there. It’s nice to call him my friend.” Alexisonfire’s most recent studio set, “Old Crows/Young Cardinals,” surfaced in June, debuting at No. 81 on The Billboard 200.
