Chris Cornell reunited with former Audioslave bandmate Tom Morello for an appearance at Seattle’s El Corazon on Friday, September 26. The event was a benefit for Now, an organization that fights to raise the minimum wage locally. Together Cornell and Morello played their 2002 hit “I Am a Highway,” along with several other cuts including “Doesn’t Remind Me.” The reunion also included “Your Time Has Come,” a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “The Ghost of Tom Joad” and “Cochise.” “You know, Chris I consider a good friend and I love that guy, you know, and we went through a lot together, both musically and personally,” Tom told Rolling Stone in 2007 after A-Slave split. “And it was, you know, my belief that the band’s friendship and roots were deep.” Copyright(c) 2014 RTTNews.com.
