Known for rejuvenating careers of so many struggling bands, Butch Walker has been asked to work his magic again, this time for American Hi-Fi and The Donnas. Both albums are slated for a release later this year, as is Walker’s solo album that is due out on Sony Music. American Hi-Fi had Top 10 hit in 2001, with their single “Flavor Of the Week”. Since then, the band has had very little success, their last album “The Art Of Losing” despite major promotion, failed to score a Top 20 single. The Donna’s received the same solid promotion from their label on their last record, and had mediocre success with their single “Take It Off”. Undoubtedly, both bands will benefit from Walker’s knack for producing a refreshing a rejuvenated sound, which has always been an integral part of his writing style. Aside from working with American Hi-Fi and The Donnas, Butch Walker has helped rejuvenate the careers of Bowling For Soup, Sevendust, Gob, and many others. He also produced and co-wrote the debut records for SR-71 and Injected. Walker broke into the music scene in the mid 90’s as the lead singer for the band The Marvelous 3.
