AWOLNATION has announced the “AWOLNATION Fall Harvest” headlining concert tour in support of their debut album Megalithic Symphony (Red Bull Records), with Middle Class Rut and Twin Atlantic to support. Throughout the tour the band will be working with local community food banks to establish a food drive at each show, benefiting area families in need. Returning to the states after a European tour run, the band recently performed an energetic set at the Austin City Limits Music Festival that had singer Aaron Bruno literally sailing across a sea of 40,000 fans. The band has also confirmed additional dates through November in the U.S., and will be performing two shows with Incubus on October 11 in Sacramento, CA and October 15 in Irvine, CA. Since the release of Megalithic Symphony, AWOLNATION have been traversing the globe playing sold out, turbo-charged shows in the U.S., Canada and Europe. The band’s radio single “Sail” has been Top 5 on the Alternative Songs charts for five weeks straight, and is currently climbing the Active Rock chart and has cracked the Top 40. “Sail” hit #1 in Canada and was recently certified platinum. The track is currently being used in promos for the upcoming season of the FOX television drama House. The band’s debut album Megalithic Symphony, featured on iTunes as one of the “Great Albums of 2011,” continues its 26 week run on the Billboard charts, topping the Alternative New Artists chart. Sacramento-based Middle Class Rut artfully blurs the line between heavy and melodic with raw, energized rock. The group’s two members, Sean Stockham (vocals, drums) and Zack Lopez (vocals, guitars), have been playing together since they were teenagers. The pair records every song they write together almost immediately in their rehearsal space, capturing the instantaneous spirit of a track while still in the moment. They’ve toured with a range of artists like Social Distortion, Alice in Chains, and Them Crooked Vultures. Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, Twin Atlantic is out in support of its critically lauded debut full-length, FREE, which was recorded at Red Bull Studios in Santa Monica, CA with producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies, Jimmy Eat World). Free, the follow up to the well-received debut EP, Vivarium, continues to expand upon the band’s signature sound, melding angular riffs with energetic choruses. Explosive and hard charging, yet melodic and thoughtful, the tracks cut deep and ring true to the listener, leaving a lasting impression. This will be their second tour of the U.S. tour.
