The Indie Song of the Day comes from Detroit/Flint, MI artist Trey Connor. Trey is just 23 and he’s performing since the age of 13.In his teen years he used to front a modern rock act in Michigan called Bulletproof Snow. They’d release two albums and they even received the 2015 Detroit Music Awards People’s Choice Aware for their song “Here We Come.” Now, Connor is performing as a solo artist since his time ended in Bulletproof Snow. He’s also based out of Austin, TX these days. Connor just released his debut solo album, Horizons. The album title represents Trey seeking new musical horizons after moving from Michigan to Texas in late 2018. The self-produced album was completed in FL, TX, and MI and was mixed by Jake Rye, Social Recording (MI) and mastered by The Foxboro (MI).
