Chicago band The Mild West has released a new electro-rock single called “Glow.” This follows the band’s two singles that they released last year called “Orange Grove” and “Time.”
With the new single The Mild West upped their game. There’s bigger production, the song is more complex and it features some addictive rhythms too.
“Glow was the first song we wrote that felt like we had a direction,” says vocalist Kylie Bruetman. “We wanted our next release to be more intentional with our sound while exploring new electronic layers to open up our writing abilities and challenge our arranging skills.”
“The song is about feeling lost in a world that never seems to run out of problems while finding comfort in the idea that we’re all in the same ocean trying our best to get everyone to shore, even if we’re in different boats,” countinued Bruetman.
Formed in late 2018, The Mild West is a five-piece pop/rock band from Chicago. The band’s sole mission is connecting with listeners through stylistically diverse and emotionally-driven
live performances and original music. They are currently in the studio writing and recording their debut EP.
