The Indie Song of the Day comes from throwback rock act, The Fame. Not to be confused with The Faim, the Australian act, The Fame is a four-piece act from Toronto that’s also just getting started. The band formed in 2017 through friends and Craigslist ads. They count The Beatles, Nirvana, Oasis, The Strokes, and White Stripes among their influences. So far, the band has only released two singles, but they’re both brilliant. The two singles will both be on a debut EP that the band is readying for release later this year. The EP was recorded with Brian Moncarz and it should be great. The song we’re featuring is called “Cherry Lipstick” – check it out below:
