The AA Indie Song of the Day comes from Toronto garage band GROWERS. They just released a song that we’re also putting on our Unsigned Top 10 next week called “The 90’s.”
GROWERS was written and composed by brothers Matt and Chris Raitt and Charlie Joy. The song was recorded with Brad Nelson at Cylinder Sound Studio in Tornto and was mastered by Wreckhouse Mastering/Peter Letros – formerly the chief engineer of Sony Music Canada.
About the song, the band says, “The 90’s is a pop-rock anthem soaked in nostalgia; attracting listeners witha child-like reminiscence of a simpler time with good music, fashion, and culture.”
GROWERS are just a year old but so far they’ve established themselves as one of Canada’s best new bands.
