Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker broke his right foot last Friday in Australia, forcing the cancellation of the punk trio's planned tour of the continent, as well as several shows in Japan and two in Hawaii
Barker is understood to have fallen down while getting off a bus. Blink will now remain off the road until April 22-23 shows in Mexico. “I am seriously bummed that we couldn’t play for our fans in Australia, Japan and Hawaii,” Barker said in a statement. “It was just a freak accident. But it’ll heal and we’ll be back.” The drummer’s foot is now in a cast and will be evaluated by specialists now that the group has returned to the United States. The coming weeks will see Blink on a 16-date tour with Cypress Hill and Taking Back Sunday, beginning April 29 in Boise, Idaho. A co-headlining summer trek with No Doubt kicks off June 1 outside Indianapolis
