The White Stripes are set to release a deluxe edition of their self-titled debut album in celebration of the record’s 20th anniversary. The White Stripes XX deluxe edition includes unreleased outtakes from the album’s recording sessions, the Live at the Ritz – Raleigh, NC – 09/26/99 LP, a DVD of footage from two 1999 performances and a 24-page archival booklet with photos, lyrics and flyers. White Stripes fans can sign up to buy it now through October 31 for $60. “The tracks collected here present the listener with an alternate reality version of how — after a few non-aberrant turns and divergent creative paths — the White Stripes self-titled album could exist in a completely different space,” said a statement on the band’s website.
