The Dangerous Summer have announced their new album Mother Nature, out June 14th via Hopeless Records, and have shared the latest single “Bring Me Back To Life”. Speaking to the new single, the band said, “Bring Me Back to Life was the first song we wrote at Panda Studios in California. We were on fire with energy, working late into the hours of the night. It became the first song we recorded with Sam because it set the vibe of the album. After we recorded it, we could see the whole album in front of us. This song about coming home to the one you love, admitting you need help, and longing for peace in the heart and soul.” After a five-year hiatus, the band released their self-titled album early last year and has band has been touring non-stop since, rekindling their love and resolve for playing shows, being on the road, and writing music. Energized, the band went into the studio with Sam Pura (The Story So Far, Basement, Hundredth) and began recording new music. Speaking to Mother Nature, The Dangerous Summer frontman AJ Perdomo said, “The album title ‘Mother Nature’ is meant to provoke the feeling of a powerful force, and living within and alongside that force.” He continued, “The mother, who brought us here, she will swallow us whole in the same breath. Also holding tight to the feeling of the mother, and that nature is female, and a mother to all of us. Growing up with my daughter, I feel the connection to the earth and the female spirit that the world embodies.” Upcoming Tour Dates w/ Have Mercy, Modern Chemistry: May 24 – Columbus, OH @ Woodlands Tavern May 25 – Howell, MI @ Bled Fest May 26 – Chicago, IL @ Cobra Lounge May 28 – Indianapolis, IN @ Hoosier Dome May 29 – St. Louis, MO @ Firebird May 31 – Kansas City, MO @ Davey’s Uptown Ramblers Club June 1 – Denver, CO @ Marquis Theater June 4 – San Francisco, CA @ Bottom of the Hill June 5 – Los Angeles, CA @ Hi Hat June 7 – Anaheim, CA @ Chain Reaction June 8 – Phoenix, AZ @ Valley Bar June 10 – Austin, TX @ Mohawk June 11 – Dallas, TX @ The Prophet Bar June 13 – Orlando, FL @ Sound Bar June 14 – Raleigh, NC @ Imurj – The Artists’ Cafe June 15 – Richmond, VA @ The Canal Club June 16 – Asbury Park, NJ @ House of Independents June 18 – Hartford, CA @ Webster Theater June 19 – Somerville, MA @ ONC Ballroom June 22 – Baltimore, MD @ MD UK Dates July 12 – Cheltenham, UK @ 2000 Trees July 13 – Leeds, UK @ The Key Club UK Dates w/ Free Throw July 14 – Manchester, UK @ The Deaf Institute July 15 – Glasgow, UK @ King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut July 16 – Birmingham, UK @ The Flapper July 17 – London, UK @ Dingwalls
