Sum 41 honored Metallica by performing a 5-minute medley of the metal band’s hit songs at the SiriusXM studios.
The Canadian rock band, who are great admirers of Metallica, played “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” “Enter Sandman” and “Master Of Puppets.”
“They just have such great melodies, even though they’re tough and they’re hard and heavy. They’re like the Beatles of metal; they write really catchy songs,” SUM 41 frontman Deryck Whibley told No Future in an interview in 2017.
SiriusXM has shared a video of the five-minute medley.
Meanwhile, Sum 41 is co-headlining many shows in the U.S. and Canada for the Rockstar Energy Drink Disrupt Festival this summer.
