The first single from the new album is a song called “Don’t Need You” which you can hear on the bands website or the AA Top 20 chart. Other songs on the 15-track disc include the anti- Iraq War-themed “God’s Army,” “Holes” and “California’s Lonely.”The group is plotting a fall tour in support of “Anxiety,” but for now, the only confirmed dates are Aug. 13 at the Firelake Festival in Gaffney, S.C., and Aug. 18 in Portland, Ore., with Cold and Unwritten Law. The upcoming shows will feature new drummer Dominic Weir, who replaced Derek Fledhill earlier this year. Smile Empty Soul is rounded out by frontman Sean Danielsen and bassist Ryan Martin.”Anxiety” is the follow-up to the group’s self-titled 2003 debut, which has sold 465,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
