Skillet’s latest release Awake topped the 500,000 mark in sales last week, making it a certified Gold release. Produced by Howard Benson (Three Days Grace, Daughtry, Flyleaf), Awake reached the #1 spot on the iTunes Store’s “Top Albums” chart when it was released last August. The album also debuted at #2 on the billboard charts. Thanks in large part to the success of their singles “Monster” and “Hero” the album continues to remain in the Billboard Top 200 today. Skillet is currently on tour with Papa Roach, Trapt, and My Darkest Days.
