It looks like Scott Weiland fans will have to wait until next Christmas to hear his long awaited Holiday album as the Stone Temple Pilots front man recently announced it’s one year delay. Tentatively titled “Most Wonderful Time Of The Year,” Weiland announced the album earlier this year and stated it would have a very “traditional” sound, including “strings, upright bass, jazz horns, piano, and guitar.” Weiland also revealed that the album will include a reggae reworking of “Little Drummer Boy.” “I’m sort of picking various versions of these songs, because they’ve been covered so many times, but my favorite versions – with a little twist,” Weiland said. In the meantime, Weiland and the rest of STP are said to be working on a new album for 2011.
