The Red Hot Chili Peppers have released a new video for “Monarchy of Roses,” the second single from their current release I’m With You. The video, which was directed by Marc Klasfeld, features the band surrounded by animated images. The black and white graphic novel style cartoon is reportedly inspired by the work of artist Raymond Pettibon and only features color when roses appear. The new single follows “The Adventures of Raindance Maggie.” During a recent interview with Bass Player magazine, bassist Flea said it was a major adjustment writing material without longtime guitarist John Frusciante: “John and I had established such a language together – if I started playing bass with John, he’d make awesome grooves that we didn’t need to talk about or think about.” Copyright(c) 2011 RTTNews.com.
