Portugal. The Man were unharmed after their tour bus caught fire during the band’s current tour. The incident occurred in front of the Iowa Memorial Union before their show on February 13. Thus far the band has made no statement about the fire but reporters in the area say that local firefighters made quick work of the blaze. Local journalist Jalyn Soucheck of KWWL shared a photo of the burnt bus and noted: “Firefighters tell me no one was injured and no one was on the bus at the time of the fire. Tonights show at the IMU goes on @KWWL” Iowa City Fire Department added a statement to Soucheck’s comment noting via Twitter: “Our crews were able to knock the fire down quickly.” Copyright(c) 2018 RTTNews.com.
