Matt Maeson has released a stripped version of his debut album. The album is a reworking of every song on the record, highlighted by a stripped version of his #1 single, “Cringe ” as well as his next official radio single, “Go Easy.” The original version of the track proved the second biggest Alternative song of 2019 thus far, spending four consecutive weeks atop Billboard’s “Alternative Songs” chart after steadily climbing the chart for 25 weeks. Additionally, “Cringe” (Stripped) has already amassed over 50 million streams. The stripped version of the album is available now. Maeson is marking the release of the stripped version of his album with his headline The Day You Departed tour, currently traveling the U.S. through late November. The trek includes a number of festival appearances alongside eagerly anticipated stops at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Steel (October 29th) and Los Angeles, CA’s historic Fonda Theatre (November 13th). Support comes from The Technicolors (through October 27th) and Moby Rich (October 29th-November 20th).
