Former Go Radio/Mayday Parade vocalist Jason Lancaster has announced details for his first new solo music in 6 years. The upcoming 6-track EP ‘Say I’m What You Want’ will be released on December 11 via We Are Triumphant/The Orchard.
The first single “Good Things Only Happen If You’re Good” (feat. Jake Bundrick of Mayday Parade/Via Fiori) is now streaming on all digital platforms.
Jason says “Working with Jake again in this was a trip down a familiar and awesome road. I think we laughed more than we worked.”
Jason Lancaster is a singer-songwriter born in Tallahassee, Florida. He was the co-lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist in Mayday Parade as well as the lead vocalist/guitarist/pianist in Go Radio. He released his first self-titled album, ‘As You Are’, in 2014. His follow up EP ‘Say I’m What You Want’ is his first new solo music since.
Jason was a vocalist for Mayday Parade on their first two releases (‘Takes Told By Dead Friends’ and ‘A Lesson in Romantics’), which have gone on to do over 300 million streams and 585,000+ units sold. His follow up project Go Radio did 141k units and 64 million streams.
