Halsey is celebrating the 5th anniversary of her debut album Badlands by releasing a live album, Badlands: Live From Webster Hall.
“Secret is out! After 5 years, we’re going back to the Badlands.
This Friday, August 28th,” the singer revealed on Instagram.
“I am excited to share my very first ever live album: Badlands (Live From Webster Hall).”
Badlands, Halsey’s debut studio album, was released on August 28, 2015 through Astralwerks. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with first-week sales of 115,000 copies, 97,000 of that estimate being pure album sales.
The album was eventually certified double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The album featured hit singles “Ghost,” “New Americana” and “Colours.”
Halsey’s 2019 show at Webster Hall, where the live album was recorded, was part of a two-concert series where she also played her 2017 album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom.
