St. Louis Alternative Band, Greek Fire has released a new single called “Coming Out Of The Rain.” The single, available on iTunes and Apple Music, introduces the band’s highly anticipated new record to be distributed by Nashville-based Average Joes Entertainment later this year.
“Coming Out Of The Rain” follows Greek Fire’s successful 2014 mega-hit, “Top Of The World,” which was featured in a trailer for Disney’s Academy Award-winning #1 smash blockbuster movie, “Big Hero 6.” “Top of The World” generated over 13 million views on YouTube, 4 million streams and spent six weeks at #1 on Emmis Alternative KPNT (THE POINT)/St. Louis, Missouri.
Band members first came together in 2009 when Phil “Moon” Sneed and Ryan Phillips (both from Story of the Year) joined with Johnny Venus and Mark Joseph Roth (both from Maybe Today) and started performing together as “Greek Fire.” Over the past two years, the band has been writing and recording songs for their upcoming record.
Since “Top of The World” was first released, it has continually been featured in game entertainment, performances, first pitches and media promos for the St. Louis Cardinals. The Blues Organization featured the song at every home game and some broadcasts since 2012 and official team intro music since 2013. In addition, the song was featured in the 2016 and 2017 Blues playoff video promos.
