Last week, former bassist of 3 Doors Down, Todd Harrell, was charged with having narcotics mailed to him while serving jail time at a correctional facility in Mississippi.
The Sheriff of the Jackson County Jail is reported to have confirmed that the drugs were discovered during a screening test of the incoming mail.
Harrell was arrested in June after police identified guns and drugs while they were responding to a call at his home. In 2013, he was arrested on charges of vehicular homicide for driving drunk and killing a 47-year-old man, Paul Shoulders. Soon after, he was also slammed with DUI charges for driving under the influence of drugs, a crime for which he faced heavy punishment, as it caused him to be fired from the band.
