Foo Fighters released their 7th surprise EP 02050525, which includes covers of songs by Jawbreaker and The Passions. The EP features a cover of The Passions’ 1981 hit “I’m in Love With a German Film Star,” as well as a Jawbreaker’s 1992 track “Kiss the Bottle.” The EP also features deep cuts, b-sides and demos pulled from the band’s sessions from 2005’s In Your Honor. The collection also includes Foo Fighters’ heavy deep cut “FFL (Fat F**king Lie)” as well as a rare studio version of “Skin and Bones.” The EP is part of Foo Fighters’ ongoing Foo Files archival series that marks the celebration of next year’s 25th anniversary of the band’s debut album.
