Ded are starting their first tour of Europe with an opening slot for Avatar in Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday, June 5th.
Having played more than 200 dates in the U.S. in the past 18 months, including all major festivals and tours with Korn and Stone Sour – SiriusXM Octane “Artist Discovery Of The Year” Ded are starting their first tour of Europe with an opening slot for Avatar in Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday, June 5th. Their dates will include performances at the Download festivals in England & France, and With Full Force Festival in Germany. Ded will be opening for Bullet For My Valentine in Amsterdam, and has headling shows at The Black Heart in London and Headcrash in Hamburg, Germany.
Ded were one of the great Artist Development stories of 2017 in Hard Rock/Metal in the U.S., winning accolades from Loudwire (nominated for Best New Artist and “Mis-An-thrope” named Top 25 album of the Year), Alternative Press, New Noise Magazine, Rock Sound Magazine, Amazon Music, Google Play Music, and more. They had 3 hit singles at Active Rock radio with “Anti-Everything” (#8 on SiriusXM Octane’s Top 50 for 2017), “Remember The Enemy”, and “Hate Me”. Ded won the Kilpop Award for “Debut Metal Artist Of The Year” (as voted on by Active Rock and Metal Radio Programmers in North America). All 3 of Ded’s singles have been featured on High Profile Hard Rock and Metal playlists @ Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music, Google Play, Youtube and Slacker.
Ded’s Joe Cotela says about this first European tour: “We are all beyond stoked to bring our live show to Europe for the first time ever! To be able to play at legendary festivals like Download in the UK and Paris that we’ve only watched in videos before is incredibly exciting. Every single one of these dates will be a special show, and we can’t wait to get there and meet new fans!”
Ded’s live resume is impressive, having played all major US Rock festivals in 2017 including @ Carolina Rebellion, Rock On The Range, Rocklahoma, Chicago Open Air, Rise Above Fest; High Elevation Festival, Monster Energy Rock Allegiance, Louder Than Life, Sonic Boom; Houston Open Air, Aftershock, and Ozzfest Meets Knotfest; as well as opening for KORN, Stone Sour, In This Moment, P.O.D. and Pop Evil. The band had 2 featured performances on the recent Shiprocked cruise. Ded returns to the stage in the US on July 13th with an appearance at Rockfest.
The band has begun the process of writing and recording new music, and hopes to release a new single before the 4th quarter of 2018.
