Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has earned his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Songwriters chart. Taylor jumped from 9th spot to the No. 1 position on the Hard Rock Songwriters chart dated August 15 with the help of two solo singles – “CMFT Must Be Stopped” and “Black Eyes Blue” – on the latest Hot Hard Rock Songs survey. “CMFT Must Be Stopped,” featuring Tech N9ne and Kid Bookie, debuted at No. 11 on Hot Hard Rock Songs with 645,000 U.S. streams and 1,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
