Bush earned the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hard Rock Music Albums chart with the release of their eighth studio album, The Kingdom.
The record, which features the hard-charging track, “Flowers on a Grave”, also debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Alternative Albums and Record Label Independent Albums Charts, No. 5 on Billboard’s Rock Albums chart and No. 14 on the Top 200 Albums chart.
Bush celebrated the release of The Kingdom with a full production virtual arena show. More than 200,000 fans worldwide tuned in across various platforms to the event that saw Bush perform songs from The Kingdom as well as classics such as “Glycerine,” “Machinehead,” “Comedown” and more. The livestream helped raise nearly $25,000 for When We All Vote, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization on a mission to increase participation in every election. As a result, Gavin Rossdale and Bush will round up and match fan contributions for a total donation of $50,000.
So far, The Kingdom has racked up more than 20 million combined audio and video streams.
