Indie-pop singer, songwriter and musician BØRNS released his newest single “Faded Heart” on Interscope Records this summer. BØRNS will perform “Faded Heart,” and other selections from his forthcoming album, at intimate club shows this fall. Tickets for all shows SOLD OUT within minutes. Now, he’s released an acoustic performance of his latest single. “After late nights in the studio working on my new album, I would fall asleep to the sounds of mariachi bands playing in my neighborhood,” says BØRNS. “I think the uplifting energy of that music subliminally influenced my record. In “The Faded Heart Sessions” the musicians from the prequel, “The Search for the Lost Sounds” meet up in the studio to record a new rendition of “Faded Heart.” I am accompanied by a full mariachi band and a theremin player and the session is ran by a big Hollywood producer named Ziggy.”
