Black Lab lead singer Paul Durham has released an album of cover songs under the side project name Mirror Ball Associates. “I realized my friends and I had been making covers of unwholesome songs for some time now, and that they deserved their own collection,” said Durham in an online post. “This is not a proper black lab cover album, as most of these were made a) on a drunken dare, b) for film, tv, commercials, or c) one or another of us was between video games and in desperate need of filling the gaping hole in our life in a non-meaningful way.” The album is available for download only on Amazon.com, and features a very wide variety of covers- everything form Paula Abdul to Depesche Mode. You can download the album at here Durham says he is working on the next Black Lab album but is still “trying to figure out what it is going to sound like” as of yet.
