Indie-pop trio AJR has announced a new album entitled “The Click”, which will be released on June 9. The album, which is the full-length follow up to their acclaimed “What Everyone’s Thinking EP”, will include all 5 songs from the EP plus 8 brand new tracks. Among those featured on the album will be hit single “Weak,” which has racked up over 140 million streams on Spotify alone and is Top 15 on the iTunes Pop Chart. “Weak” has been rapidly growing at Top 40 radio with major support from the likes of SiriusXM/Hits1, WKSC/Chicago, and WRVW/Nashville, and KLIF/Dallas. This week alone, the song was added into rotation at Z100/New York, KDWB/Minneapolis, WZFT/Baltimore, WNKS/Charlotte and WDCG/Raleigh.
The band was also recently selected as a YouTube ‘Artist On The Rise’ and were included in iHeartRadio’s ‘About To Break’ campaign.
On the heels of their SOLD-OUT East Coast tour, the group has just announced the ‘What Everyone’s Thinking Tour Part II’ which will bring the brothers to the West Coast with special album release shows at In The Venue in Salt Lake City, The Troubadour in Los Angeles and Bowery Ballroom in New York City.
Last week, AJR teamed up with It’s On Us to release a new charity single. All proceeds from the song will directly benefit the It’s On Us campaign to support sexual assault prevention education initiatives on campuses and in communities nationwide. Lending their vocals in support of the cause, Adam, Jack, and Ryan serve as ambassadors for the organization and had the honor of first performing the track at The White House for the IT’S ON US Campus Sexual Assault Summit.
